Walter R. Seidel,

Dr. Walter Ray Seidel, Jr. is a leader in
the field of
cosmetic lasering. He performed his first
laser procedure
in 1997 in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Seidel received his medical degree in 1988 from the
American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine,
Plymouth Montserrat, in the British West Indies. He
completed his Residency in Family Practice, Texas Tech
Health Science Center, Lubbock, Texas in 1993. He also
completed his advanced specialty training in Laser Medicine
and
Cosmetic Aesthetic Lasering
Dr. Seidel was a Professor of Medicine and the Assistant
Administrator to the President of the American University
School of Medicine.
He has proctored family practice residents and health care
professionals
( medical physicians ) in performing aesthetic procedures
(nationally as well as from New Mexico) over the years. His
most recent cosmetic course he taught was in Los
Angeles/Beverly Hills.
Laser Companies have worked with Dr Seidel in clinical
research and he has helped developed protocols for multiple
procedures, lasers, RF skin tightening, and light base
treatments.
He is currently working on a couple of new projects
with two national leaders in laser engineering and
production. This includes development of an advanced Tattoo
removal procedure which has shown consistency in the removal
times and will remove all colors, this was first preformed
right here at New Mexico Cosmetic Lasering.
UltraLipodissolve tm is another area where Dr Seidel has
been an enervator and is currently patenting as an advanced
method, which is an improved version of Lipodissolve.
UltraLipoDissolve™ has been found to be more efficient
with better results and uses less injections.
He has been a leader in resurfacing and scar revision and
has developed a combination resurfacing procedure which
surpasses any single procedure now available, which was been
preformed over 6 months ago. He is currently developing a
new advanced procedure for acne which should improve results
with less treatments of the toughest cases.
Dr. Seidel has been the first in many areas of cosmetic in
New Mexico, which include,
Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT) with Levulan Kerastick,
Clearlight,
Blu-U-light
(light
based) treatments for
acne and
facial rejuvenation. First
with Sciton Erbium
YAG laser, BBL,
IPL,
Accent XL for
skin
tightening and body contouring. This would also includes the
new developed procedures mentioned above
Advanced comprehensive cosmetics combination therapy and
procedures has been Dr. Seidel's passion and this has lead
to his enervations within the cosmetic field.
Trained in Family Practice, he still has fun practicing in
Capitan and Ruidoso with a mix which also includes cosmetic
( this is were he first started laser medicine, before
opening New Mexico Cosmetic Lasering )
Dr Seidel is a member of the American Academy of Family
Practice. He is an active member in the American Society for
Laser Medicine and Surgery, and is a member of the American
Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He is also a charter member
of the American Society of Photo Dynamic Therapy (ASPDT),
and a member of the International Society of Cosmetic and
Laser Surgeons (ISCLS).
Dr. Seidel also volunteers his time as the Medical Director
for Frontier Medical Home Health, Faculty Clinical
Instructor for the Roswell, New Mexico’s Family Practice
Residency Program, Past Varsity Football coach ( Capitan HS
) for two years, Medical director of EMS ( Ruidoso and
Ruidoso downs ) and the Civil Air Patrol
( CAP ).
